Key Account Director

£50,000 - £80,000 1st Year

 

The Key Account Director will have responsibility for promoting the growth of the Team through independent research and campaigns, targeting Finance Partners in UK and Europe.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

As a Key Account Director in the Solutions Team you will:

- Identify, prioritise, and recruit new financial partners for our rapidly expanding solutions business. Main geographical focus will be the UK & Europe.

- On-board new Finance Partners across (but not limited to) Money Service Businesses (MSBs), Financial Institutions, Professional Services.

- Report on progress against plan, ensuring that agreed targets are met.

- Expand existing business and provide feedback to technology and product managers.

- Support the strong client relationship/servicing culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service and superior product knowledge.

Experience 

  • 4-10 years sales and/or partner management experience in a B2B financial solution organisation, of which with ideally at least 2-6 years’ experience working with FX companies to originate strategic partnerships with affiliates and introducers

  • This person will have worked with complex finance companies in the past, and will therefore understand how to operate a complex solution sale

  • You will have a thorough understanding of the SME finance world and network. Equally a background in the Corporate Service Provider / FX Brokers industry would be an advantage.

  • Ideally with business/finance academic background.

Fx Business Development Manager / Partnerships Manager

 

 

Main responsibilities 

 

  • New partner lead generation

  • Cold calling partnership prospects

  • Building a network of key contacts who can either directly introduce business or introduce you to new partner opportunities

  • Attending relevant events, exhibitions, trade fairs networking functions to generate new partnership prospects

  • Manage new partner relationships to ensure maximum lead generation (new corporate & private clients)

  • Relationship building in client meetings and representing the company

  • Exceeding the sales revenue targets

  • Make sales presentation to partners and customers Representing the Company at Events

 

Compliance

Ensure company procedures and high standards are followed at all times. With particular focus upon KYC procedures and accurate maintenance of all CRM records, particularly client follow up calls

 

Reporting
